Free-agent forward Derrick Williams has agreed to a contract with German club Bayern Munich, according to a report from Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Williams is 6-foot-8 and was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2011 draft (behind Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving).
Williams was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has also played for the Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat. He appeared in just two games last season, both as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Williams, 33, carries career averages of 8.9 points and 4.0 rebounds.
