The Brooklyn Nets have officially re-signed forward/center Alan Williams to a two-way contract, the team announced in a news release.
Williams was waived Jan. 2 and intended to play in China. But apparently, there were some issues with his contract negotiations, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, opening the door for Williams to return to Brooklyn.
This is likely more of a move for the Nets’ G-League franchise in Long Island, as Williams has not appeared in an NBA game this season. He is averaging 21 points and 14.7 rebounds in the G-League.
