Free agent guard Norris Cole has agreed to a contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
The former Cleveland State standout has also spent time with Miami and New Orleans. Cole, 28, spent time playing in China earlier this season before injuring his hamstring.
He averaged 10.6 points and 3.7 assists last season with the Pelicans, before entering unrestricted free agency over the summer. He has not played in the NBA this season.
Cole switched agents during the offseason as well — moving from Cleveland-based Rich Paul and Klutch Sports to Joel Bell. Cavaliers forward LeBron James, center Tristan Thompson and shooting guard J.R. Smith are among Paul’s clients.
