Goodwin had been with the Nuggets before they signed veteran free-agent Nick Young on Dec. 10. Goodwin returned to the G-League Memphis Hustle after Denver signed Young.
He transferred to Florida Gulf Coast University after spending two seasons at the University of Central Florida. In two years with FGC, Goodwin averaged 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.5 minutes per game.
