Pacers’ Turner out with concussion, sore neck

Pacers big man Myles Turner has been diagnosed with a concussion and sore neck.

Pacers center Myles Turner has been diagnosed with a concussion and sore neck and will miss the next two games, the team announced Friday.

Turner sustained both of his ailments in the Pacers’ season opener against the Nets when he got hit by forward DeMarre Carroll on a cross-screen.

Without Turner, Indiana’s starting lineup will most likely feature Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Thaddeus Young and Domantas Sabonis.

Turner registered a double-double on opening night, scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds while shooting 8-of-13 from the field.
