Nuggets’ Millsap undergoes surgery, out three months

Paul Millsap will be out three months.

Denver Nuggets power forward Paul Millsap underwent left wrist surgery today and will be sidelined for three months, according to a report by The Vertical.

Millsap suffered a torn ligament in his wrist during a road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Millsap signed a three-year, $90 million free agent deal with the Nuggets in the offseason after spending the previous four seasons with the Atlanta Hawks.

The four-time All-Star is averaging 15.3 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 44.6 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from three with Denver in 16 games.

The Nuggets are 2-1 so far without Millsap.
