Tony Carr is headed overseas, but the New Orleans Pelicans will retain his rights after he returns.
According to report by Sportando, Carr, selected in the second round by the Pelicans out of Penn State, has agreed to a deal to play with Fiat Torino, the Italian team coached by NBA coaching legend Larry Brown.

Carr, a 6-foot-5 guard and a Philadelphia native, averaged 19.6 points, 4.9 rebonds and 5.0 assists last season for the Nittany Lions a year ago as a sophomore.
Brown compiled a record of 1,098-904 record in 27 seasons spent on NBA benches as a head coach. He last coached at Southern Methodist University, resigning in 2016 after a recruiting scandal.
