Pachulia, 33, was a part of the Golden State Warriors squads that won back-to-back NBA championships the last two seasons.
The 6-foot-11, 270-pound 15-year veteran averaged 5.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 14.1 minutes in 69 games (57) for Golden State last season, shooting 56.4 percent from the field and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.
The Pistons will be Pachulia’s sixth stop in the NBA, having spent eight seasons with Atlanta, three with Milwaukee, two with Golden State and one apiece with Dallas and Orlando.
