Pistons agree to one-year deal with Pachulia

Zaza Pachulia has agreed to a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons.

The Detroit Pistons are adding a champion to their roster, according to a report.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports the Pistons have agreed with veteran free-agent center Zaza Pachulia on a one-year deal for the NBA-minimum $2.4 million deal.

Pachulia, 33, was a part of the Golden State Warriors squads that won back-to-back NBA championships the last two seasons.

The 6-foot-11, 270-pound 15-year veteran averaged 5.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 14.1 minutes in 69 games (57) for Golden State last season, shooting 56.4 percent from the field and 80.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pistons will be Pachulia’s sixth stop in the NBA, having spent eight seasons with Atlanta, three with Milwaukee, two with Golden State and one apiece with Dallas and Orlando.
