Poll: Which free agent will be with new team next season?

Kyrie Irving won't play against the Nets with a hip strain

Another offseason of major free agency will soon be upon us, in about six months to be exact.

How major?

Well, pretty doggone major. According to excellent website Basketball Insiders, more than 230 players can become free agents in 2019.

That’s more than half the league.

But some free agents, of course, are bigger than others. The biggest prizes are expected to be the likes of Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant, Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving, Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard and Philadelphia 76ers wing Jimmy Butler.

All have been linked to at least one other opposing team — that includes Irving, who’s already indicated he intends to stay with Boston.

But this is January, and between now and July, things can change dramatically for every man and his team on the list.

So who will go? Make your pick in the poll below and leave your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom of this post.

Which of these expected free agents is most likely to leave his current team?

Kevin Durant, Warriors
Kawhi Leonard, Raptors
Kyrie Irving, Celtics
Jimmy Butler, Sixers
All are leaving
None are leaving

  1. Just about all of what you claim is supprisingly accurate and it makes me ponder the reason why I had not looked at this with this light previously. This article truly did turn the light on for me personally as far as this specific subject goes. Nevertheless there is 1 point I am not necessarily too comfy with so while I attempt to reconcile that with the main theme of the issue, let me observe exactly what all the rest of your visitors have to say.Nicely done.
