Power forward Patterson agrees to one-year deal with Clippers

Free agent forward Patrick Patterson is the latest addition to the Clippers frontcourt.

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent power forward Patrick Patterson, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The contract is reportedly for the veteran’s minimum of $2.3 million.

Patterson, 30, spent each of the past two seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He averaged less than four points per game with the Thunder, despite appearing in all 82 games in 2017-18. He played in 63 games last season.

He has also spent time with the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets, who drafted Patterson with the No. 14 overall pick in 2010.

Patterson will be joining a frontcourt that includes All-Star newcomers Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, as well as Maurice Harkless and JaMychal Green.
