Raptors sign guard Kay Felder

Former Cavs guard Kay Felder is headed to Toronto.

The Toronto Raptors are signing guard Kay Felder to a one-year, partially guaranteed deal, according to Sam Amick of USA TODAY Sports.

Felder will compete in camp for Toronto’s 15th roster spot.

Felder began last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was traded to the Atlanta Hawks in October and then was claimed by the Chicago Bulls after Atlanta waived him.

The Bulls then waived Felder in December, allowing him to sign a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons. In 16 games in 2017-18, Felder averaged 3.6 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists, shooting 30.0 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from three.
