Report: ‘Still a long shot’ LeBron signs with Lakers

Another day, another new rumor regarding Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James and his upcoming free agency.

Earlier this week, it was reported that James has the Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets and Cavaliers as the list of teams he plans on taking meetings with this summer.

The Cavs are in Los Angeles this weekend taking on the Clippers and Lakers. While in LA, James will no doubt be serenaded by hopeful Lakers fans at the Staples Center.

The King will also see billboards placed around the city with his name on it:

According to a report by ESPN, however, it’s “still a long shot” James chooses the Lakers this offseason. That’s mostly because James is determined to stay focused on winning a title with the Cavs this season.

ESPN’s report also states that at this time, nobody knows what LeBron will do because even he doesn’t know.

“If someone is pretending they know what LeBron is thinking, they’re guessing,” one source told ESPN. “How could anyone know when he doesn’t even know? His decision won’t be made to please others. It’ll be made to please himself.”
