Report: Wizards plan to match Nets’ offer for Porter

The Wizards will reportedly match the Nets' max contract offer for Otto Porter.

Earlier tonight, The Vertical reported that the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter agreed to a four-year, $106 million offer sheet.

Shortly after, the Vertical added to their report regarding Porter, stating that the Wizards do intend to match the Nets’ offer.

Porter averaged 13.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this past season while shooting 51.6 percent from the field and 43.4 percent beyond the arc.

His three-point percentage ranked fourth best in the NBA.
