Houston Rockets CEO Tad Brown says the organization is hopeful to get a deal done very soon with restricted free agent Clint Capela.
The Rockets are optimistic about re-signing Capela even though he turned down their five-year, $85 million offer.

The Rockets offered Capela the $85 million deal on the first day of free agency. With incentives, the deal could be worth $90 million.
In 74 games this past season with the Rockets, Capela averaged 13.9 points and 10.8 rebounds while shooting 65.2 percent from the field. Most of his baskets were delivered by MVP James Harden.
Rival teams don’t have the cap space to make a compelling offer to Capela, who is looking for a five-year, $100 million deal.
