Rockets convert House’s two-way contract to standard deal

Rockets forward Danuel House has agreed to contract for the rest of the season.

The Houston Rockets are converting the two-way deal of small forward Danuel House to a standard contract, according to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.

House is 6-foot-7 and averaging 9.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 25 games with the Rockets. He went undrafted out of Texas A&M in 2016 and has also played one game for the Washington Wizards and made 17 appearances with the Phoenix Suns last season.

He was waived by the Rockets in December and had been playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League.

At one point, the Rockets had offered House a three-year non-guaranteed deal. This contract likely matches that one in terms of guaranteed money.
