The Houston Rockets have extended a qualifying offer to center Clint Capela, making him a restricted free agent Sunday, according to a report.
Keith Smith of RealGM reported Houston is extending the qualifying offer of $4.75 million.
The Houston Rockets have tendered qualifying offers to Clint Capela and two-way player Markel Brown. Both players are now restricted free agents and Houston can match any offer sheets they sign with another team. If Brown signs his QO, he’ll be on a second two-way contract.

Cappella averaged 13.9 points, 10.8 boards and 1.9 blocked shots for the rockets last season. He was a finalist for the NBA’s Most Improved Player award.
Houston also extended a qualifying offer two 6-foot-3 guard Markel Brown, a two-way player.
