The Memphis Grizzlies and power forward Brandan Wright are working toward a buyout and an agreement could be reached by tonight, according to a report from ESPN.
Wright, 30, has appeared in 27 games for the lowly Grizzlies this season and is averaging 5.0 points and 3.4 rebounds.
ESPN is adding that once bought out, Wright will be coveted by contending teams, with the Houston Rockets as the frontrunners to sign him.
