Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul will miss Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals with a left hamstring strain, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.
Paul was injured during the Rockets’ Game 5 win over the Golden State Warriors. Game 6 is Saturday night at Golden State, with the Rockets leading the series, 3-2.
Paul’s status for a possible Game 7 in Houston is still to be determined.
Paul is averaging 21.1 points and 5.8 assists in 15 playoff games.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said Thursday that Eric Gordon will start in the backcourt in the event Paul can’t go.
