Sixers believe Colangelo had no knowledge of Twitter accounts

Philadelphia 76ers president Bryan Colangelo has told ownership he had no knowledge of the Twitter accounts which criticized players and revealed sensitive team information and the organization believes him, according to a report from NBC Sports Philadelphia.

The Ringer published a report last week citing sources that claim Colangelo is associated with the multiple burner Twitter accounts.

The Sixers hired the law firm of Paul/Weiss to investigate Colangelo. Paul/Weiss is using cyber intelligence consultants to assist them in the investigation, which has included Colangelo surrendering his phones and electronic devices for scrutiny.

The probe has become increasingly focused on Colangelo’s wife. Both Colangelo and his wife were interviewed separately.

The Sixers are trying to decide if they can go forward with Colangelo after sensitive team information went public. Colangelo was present at a pre-draft workout for Duke’s Grayson Allen at the team’s facility Wednesday.

  1. Sixers are making this difficult. They need to delete this “Process mindset” & develop a “Championship Mindset”
    These are the steps:
    Fire Colangelo
    Hire David Griffin
    Clear up cap space
    Griff will recruit LeBron
Then PG13 will follow (sign & trade) Sixers have great trade assets, Fultz, Covington & draft picks. As reports came out that they will discuss their future together before making decision.
    PG- Ben Simmons
    SG- Paul George
    SF- LeBron James
PF- Dario Saric or a stretch 4
    C- Joel Embiid
I can see LeBron getting minimum 2 rings with this team
Too much Length, defensive potential is sky high & 3point shooting.
