The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade the number one overall pick in this year’s draft to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Sixers will draft University of Washington point guard Markelle Fultz.
Trade between Philly and Boston will be finalized on Monday, per source. Sides have agreed. Sixers will get first pick and take Fultz.

The Celtics will receive the third overall pick, along with the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2018 first round pick and a future pick.
The Sixers will now have a young core of Fultz, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to build around.
