Veteran guard Brandon Rush may be working out for the 76ers, according to a report.

The Philadelphia 76ers may bring in veteran guard Brandon Rush for an audition for their 15th roster spot, according to a report from Marc Spears of The Undefeated.

Rush, 33, is 6-foot-6 and last appeared in an NBA game in 2016-17 with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has played in the NBA for a total of 10 seasons, also spending time with the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz and Indiana Pacers.

He averaged 4.2 points in each of his past two seasons. He averaged a career best 9.8 points with the Warriors in 2011-12.

The Sixers are reportedly seeking perimeter shooting following their trade for Jimmy Butler on Monday. Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Kyle Korver and New York Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee, both said to be available, are others who have been linked to Philly.
