Dikembe Dixson will work out for the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta on Wednesday, a source told Amico Hoops. Dixon will arrive in Atlanta on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-7, 190-pound forward played three seasons at University of Illinois at Chicago, playing in 72 games and averaging 17.4 points per game. He declared for the draft this summer, and attended the Pro Basketball Combine at IMG Academy in Florida. He had a very impressive showing in front of many NBA scouts, but ultimately went undrafted.
The purpose of the workout for Dixson will be to ultimately earn a training-camp invite with the Hawks.
