Source: Former UCF standout Taylor to enter G League draft

Former UCF guard B.J. Taylor averaged 15.9 points in each of his final two college seasons.

Former UCF guard B.J. Taylor intends to enter the G League Draft in October, a source told Ben Stinar of Amico Hoops.

Taylor was among the 50 prospects to play in the G League Showcase in Chicago and is considered a likely first-round draft pick.

He averaged 15.9 points in each his junior and senior seasons before going undrafted by the NBA this past summer. He and UCF gave Duke a scare in the NCAA tournament.

The G League now has 28 teams, with all but two NBA franchises represented by an affiliate.
