Spanish club targeting veteran swingman Strawberry

Former Phoenix Suns swingman D.J. Strawberry is drawing strong interest from Spanish club UCAM Murcia, as relayed by Sportando.

Strawberry, 34, appeared in 33 games with the Suns in the 2007-08 season. He has spent the remainder of his career overseas, with a few stints in the G League in there as well.

He is the son of former MLB pitcher Darryl Strawberry. Last season, D.J. Strawberry averaged 13.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists for Orleans of France.
