After interviewing for head-coaching vacancies with the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors, Jerry Stackhouse has agreed on a deal to join J.B. Bickerstaff’s coaching staff with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to a report.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Stackhouse will head to Memphis after leading the Toronto 905 to back-to-back G League Finals appearances, which including winning the league championship in 2017.

Stackhouse, a former University of North Carolina great and an a18-year NBA veteran, spent a season as part of Dwane Casey’s staff in Toronto before assuming the position of head coach of the Raptors’ G League squad.
He will join Bickerstaff’s staff with the Grizzlies that also includes Chad Forcier, who was hired from the Orlando Magic this spring.
