Timberwolves tender QO to Bjelica

The Minnesota Timberwolves have issued a qualifying offer to Nemanja Bjelica, according to a report.

Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reported the Timberwolves extended an offer of $4.9 million for the 30-year-old forward, which will make him a restricted free agent July 1.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound forward averaged 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.5 minutes in 67 games (21 starts) for the Timberwolves last season.

The third-year pro shot 46.1 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from deep last season.
