Camp Location: Virginia Commonwealth University

Key Returnees: John Wall, Bradley Beal, Marcin Gortat, Markieff Morris, Otto Porter, Kelly Oubre, Marcus Thornton, Jarell Eddie.
Key Additions: Trey Burke (Utah), Ian Mahinmi (Indiana), Andrew Nicholson (Orlando), Tomas Satoransky (Spain), Jason Smith (Orlando), Danuel House (rookie, Texas A&M).
Key Losses: Nenê (Houston), Garrett Temple (Sacramento), Jared Dudley (Phoenix), Ramon Sessions (Charlotte), Alan Anderson (LA Clippers), Drew Gooden (free agent), JJ Hickson (free agent).
Outlook: It’s always interesting when a team fires a coach, because now there’s nowhere left for the players to hide. That’s the situation with the Wizards, who brought in Scott Brooks to try to get this group to reach its potential. Question is, are John Wall, Bradley Beal and the rest already as far along as they’ll ever be together? But hey, that’s what training camp is for. The Wizards lost some key contributors, returning the likes of Markieff Morris, Marcin Gortat and Otto Porter. Nothing super, but if these guys can finally gel when it means the most, maybe firing the coach was worth it. If not, well, the players gotta be next to go.
