VanVleet, Raptors agree on two-year deal

Fred VanVleet has agreed on a two-year deal to remain with the Raptors.

The Toronto Raptors had one of the best benches in the NBA last season and according to a report, they made a move Sunday to attempt to keep the band together.

Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports the Raptors have agreed on a two-year, $18 million deal with Sixth Man of the Year finalist Fred VanVleet.

VanVleet was a restricted free agent after going undrafted in 2016 out of Wichita State.

The 24-year-old averaged 8.6 points and 3.2 assists per game for Toronto, shooting 41.4 percent from the 3-point line.
