Report: Wizards’ Wall to return Wednesday

John Wall has been out since Nov. 25 for the Wizards.

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall has been sidelined since Nov. 25 after an MRI revealed inflammation in his left knee.

The All-Star received platelet-rich plasma and viscosupplementation injections to reduce the inflammation in his knee.

Wall has progressed to participating in five-on-five in practice, and according to David Aldridge of NBA.com, the explosive guard is expected to return this Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies barring a late setback.

On the season, Wall is averaging 20.3 points and 9.2 assists while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor. The Wizards enter tonight with a record of 14-12, sitting at the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
