The Washington Wizards have signed veteran guard Ty Lawson, who recently played in China this season.
Lawson, an eight-year NBA veteran, has career averages of 12.7 points, 6.0 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals. He has played with the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings.
“Ty’s experience and ability will give us extra depth in the backcourt during the playoffs,” said Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld. “He’s a veteran player who can score and distribute while bringing additional postseason experience.”
