The 25-year-old Randle did not make an appearance in a game this season for the Wizards, whom re-signed him to a standard NBA contract in October.
Randle, a Stanford product, played in 26 combined games for the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks in the 2016-17 season, averaging 5.3 points and 1.3 assists in 11.5 minutes.
According to Candace Buckner of The Washington Post, the Wizards could look to call up Jordan McRae, signed to a two-way deal in September.
