Introduction
Afternoon for everyone. Only once in the last eight years has the title of drivers been ridden in the final Grand Prix of the season, when Nico Rosberg defeated Lewis Hamilton to win the championship in 2016, all of which vibrated in the mild Oval-Ashes-Test-in-90s, a permanent dead rubber. This is Hamilton’s dominance, which seems to have taken root over the years, and the goal of the world title is conveniently determined by this late delay.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t have a race to watch this afternoon. Max Verstappen steals the pole yesterday to win the 70th annual GP at Silverstone in August, captivating the view ahead and raising hopes of Red Bull and Verstappen’s second race victory of the season. Last week’s race was Sergio Perez’s first win and Jorge Russell’s losing streak was also fun.
Hamilton, meanwhile, has reached new heights in these strange years, and although he is post-Coward anxious to deal with today, a year later he is out of his game and you can not rule out anything from him. Along the way, many non-patrolmen will not be begging for this year’s Sports Personality Award for him next week.
Lights on at 1.10pm!
