Popular warnings about the vaccine fraud scheme at one of its companies, Banco
The vaccination event for 25- to 50-year-olds will take place on April 17, at a popular central facility in Hato Rae, Banco Popular warned this Wednesday about a fraudulent scheme carried out via SMS.
“This information is incorrect and we request you not to provide personal information at any time,” the company said on its social media network.

In the afternoon, the appointed Health Secretary, Carlos Mellado Lopez, The company clarified that it does not use SMS to request any information from citizens.
“In the face of text messages spreading to young people calling for vaccinations, I would like to clarify whether the Department of Health or any of its 540 authorized providers in Puerto Rico are seeking information through text messages or social networks,” Mello Lopez revealed on his Twitter account.
