A new cold front will affect western Cuba

Tonight, a sudden change in weather is approaching in the west of the country due to the approaching cold front. Winds are expected to shift towards the north, temperatures will drop and the possibility of rain will fall as the frontal area passes.

The front will reach the eastern region of Cuba on Tuesday, then retreat on Wednesday and reposition itself in the north on Thursday. This process will culminate on Friday when it joins the formation of a new tropical depression in the Gulf of Mexico. We urge you to monitor this phenomenon as current conditions may vary throughout the week.

If the forecasts are correct, a noticeable change in the weather is expected starting next Friday with the arrival of a strong cold front with the possibility of severe phenomena. Throughout the weekend, mixed conditions are expected.

At the beginning of next week, the front will move towards the eastern region of Cuba, affecting the west and center of the country with winter weather. Caution is advised, especially for those who are sensitive to weather changes, during this process.
