Abi Nader dismisses 29 diplomatic staff and changes deputy ministers MAP
On Thursday evening, two decrees were issued by which President Luis Abinader ordered the appointment of five new deputy ministers in the Ministry of Public Administration and the dismissal of about 29 employees from the diplomatic corps in the Dominican Republic.
By Decree No. 457-24, the President ordered the appointment of Elvis Alexis Muñoz Peralta (from Institutional Strengthening), Gray Josefina Peña de Murillo (from Public Service), Alan Jiménez Martínez (from Public Services), and Armando José Manzueta Peña (from Innovation and Services Technology) as new Deputy Ministers of the MAP. He also ordered the transfer of Sheila del Alba Castillo from Undersecretary of Public Services to Undersecretary of Reform and Modernization.
While through Government Ruling 458-24, Abinader removed from their posts Ko Sam Lam Yung (Vice-Consul in Hong Kong), Jose Luis Martí Reyes (Vice-Consul in Oranjestad, Aruba), Jairo Abel Diaz Rodriguez and Dulce Stephanie Rodriguez Hernández (Vice-Consuls in Montreal, Canada), Gervasio Martinez (Vice-Consul in Miami), Carmen Victoria Garcia Martinez, Bergin Dolores Pujols de los Santos and Abel Manuel Rodriguez Duvergy (Vice-Consuls in Toronto, Canada).
In addition to Filiberto de Jesús Blanco Martínez (Vice Consul in Havana, Republic of Cuba), Dianca Yumalis Ruiz Nina and Maria Rosa Campos Rodríguez (Vice Consuls in Seville, Kingdom of Spain), Jessica Monegro (Vice Consul in Los Angeles), Luis Manuel Prince Rodríguez (Vice Consul in New York), José Rolando Alemán Barry (Vice Consul in Bogotá, Republic of Colombia), Luis Aristides Rosario Moreno and Enrique Camarena Francisco (Vice Consuls in Boston), Maricel Lester Villavizar (Consular Assistant and Vice Consul in San Juan, Puerto Rico).
