He explained that because of the pension payments that are implemented in remote communities by government officials, and with the support of state governments, they are used to vaccinate residents of those areas.

“We have to keep vaccinating in very remote communities Because there’s been a lot of progress in vaccination, here in Mexico City it’s almost 100 percent but there are states where we still have to keep visiting small communities.”

He stressed that the state has sufficient vaccines to implement a strengthening plan for the sectors that need them.

“We don’t want anyone to run out of the vaccine, the booster is not left out for the elderly, the same for the teachers, some of the vaccines will be boosted that according to the research need for that booster, it won’t take long, we have vaccines to boost, for the whole booster plan.”
