Bucks point guard Bledsoe to miss time with rib injury

Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe averaged 15.9 points last season.

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe is expected to miss time with what general manager Jon Horst described as fractured the cartilage between two of his ribs, as relayed by Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Bledsoe, 29, averaged 15.9 points and 5.5 assists last season as the Bucks compiled the league’s best regular-season record at 60-22. He is in the first year of a four-year contract extension.

Returning guards George Hill and Donte DiVicenzio are expected to help replace the loss of Bledsoe, who could miss up to two or three weeks.
