Bulls signing Lemon Jr. for remainder of season

G-League standout Walt Lemon Jr. reportedly has been signed by the Bulls for the remainder of the season.

The Chicago Bulls are signing guard Walter Lemon Jr. for the rest of the season, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.

Lemon Jr. is 6-foot-3 has been playing for the Windy City Bulls of the G League, where he averaged 20.9 points and 8.4 assists in 43 games. he appeared in four preseason games with the Boston Celtics in October, averaging 6.5 points on 47 percent shooting.

He also appeared in five games with the New Orleans Pelicans last season, averaging 3.4 points on a 10-day contract.

The Bulls have been decimated by injuries as they head toward another offseason in the draft lottery — with Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr., Chandler Hutchison and Denzel Valentine out for the season.
