Cordoba Hospital already has its own listening space – Web de Noticias
- The Minister of Health enabled the sixth center for active listening, advice and support to patients.
- It will be attended by social work professionals, supported by administrative staff, and will operate Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
- The initiative will continue to be replicated in other institutions.
The Cordoba Hospital Center has opened a “hospital listening to you” space, which will provide support and advice, both to patients being treated at the institution, as well as to family members or accompanying persons who have concerns.
It was commissioned by the Minister of Health, Gabriela Barbas, who took the opportunity to honor the teams. Additionally, he said: “I am grateful for your willingness to join this initiative, which will allow you to expand response capacity and strengthen strategies related to patient safety and quality of care.”
This is the sixth active listening, counseling, and patient containment center that works at a health facility in the county.
The main objective of the strategy is to strengthen the link between the people who consult in the institution and the health team, to provide accessibility, expand response capacity and improve the quality of care.
“It is important cContinuing on this path of strengthening the relationship with the community and broadening the social outlook, this new space will make it easy to maintain active accompaniment of people as they move through the hospital,” Barbas explained.
This listening space is made up of social work professionals with the support of administrative staff, and will operate Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
On this occasion, Minister Barbas was accompanied by Health Minister Sergio Mitripan. Director of Capital Hospitals, Carlos Jordana; Director of Cordoba Hospital, Eduardo Caminos; Deputy Director Jose de Angelo; Head of the Medical Clinic Department of the Hospital of Cordoba, Julio Ferreira; and Technical Secretary, Alejandro Galliardi.
It should be noted that it is the sixth of these points; Previous hospitalists work at Hospitals for Neonatology and Children, Florencio Diaz, Pediatrics and Misericordia. This initiative will continue to be replicated in other centers, in the capital and within the governorate.
