Free agent forward Ryan Anderson has agreed to a partially guaranteed contract with the Houston Rockets, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.
Anderson, 31, has had a rough stretch since being traded from the Rockets in 2018, barely contributing with the Phoenix Suns or Miami Heat in the previous two seasons despite a large contract. He was waived by the Heat in July.
His last run with the Rockets in 201-18 went fairly well — as the 6-foot-10 stretch four averaged 9.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 66 games.
P.J. Tucker, Gerald Green, Thabo Sefolosha, Gary Clark and Anthony Bennett are some of the Rockets’ other forwards of note.
