The Houston Rockets have reached agreement on a training camp contract with free agent forward Jaron Blossomgame, agent Andy Shiffman told Shams Charania of Stadium.
While no specifics were given, it is likely an Exhibit 10 deal that guarantees Blossomgame some money if he can stick with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Rockets’ G League affiliate.
Blossomgame, 26, is 6-foot-8 and appeared in 27 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.6 rebounds.
Originally drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2017 (second round, No. 59 overall), Blossomgame also played for the Canton Charge of the G League.
P.J. Tucker, Gary Clark, Thabo Sefolosha and former No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett are other notable forwards for the Rockets.
