The Atlanta Hawks have waived small forward Paul Watson Jr., the team announced in a news release.
Watson appeared in two games and did not score. He is 6-foot-6 and went undrafted out of Fresno State in 2017.
Prior to signing with the Hawks on Jan. 6, he had been playing for Raptors 905, the G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors. He averaged 18.4 points and 7.5 rebounds in 13 games in the G League. He has also spent time in Germany.
The Hawks’ roster stands at 13 after the move.
