The Miami Heat have waived rookie point guard Jeremiah Martin and second-year shooting guard Mychal Mulder, the team announced in a press release.
Martin is 6-foot-2 and went undrafted out of Memphis. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Heat in July. He averaged 7.7 points for the Heat in summer league.
Mulder is 6-foot-4 and spent last season in the G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He scored 37 points in a game against the Canton Charge. He also signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Heat this offseason.
Both Martin and Mulder are likely headed to the Skyforce.
The Heat are now carrying 18 players, and will need to trim it to 15 before the season tips off next week.
