The Charlotte Hornets have decided to not present a qualifying offer to big man Frank Kaminsky, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
By not issuing the offer, Kaminsky will become an unrestricted free agent.
Kaminsky, 26, was the ninth overall pick of the 2015 draft out of Wisconsin by the Hornets.
The 7-foot, 242-pounder averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 16.1 minutes in 47 games off the bench for Charlotte last season, shooting 46.3 percent from the field, 36.0 percent from deep and 73.8 percent from the free-throw line.
Kaminsky earned $3.6 million last season, the final year of his rookie-scale contract.
