Kevin Durant dropped out of the Brooklyn Nets until after the All-Star Game

Brooklyn Nets star, Kevin DurantThe team announced Friday that it will be out during the NBA all-star break as he recovers from a left hamstring strain.

Durant missed his last six matches due to injury. Coach Steve Nash said earlier this week that they expected Durant to return before the all-star break, but Nets decided the attacking star would require additional time to recover after an MRI follow-up.

“The last images provided a clearer picture of his hamstrings, and while we are confident Durant will be back in full force, this extra recovery time will allow him to perform at the level he has played this season once he returns,” the team said.

Durant will be re-evaluated after the All-Star Break, which will take place from March 5-10.

The average NBA Finals two-time best player averages 29 points, 5.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds per match this season.
