De'Aaron Fox of the Kings is expected to play for the U.S. Select team this summer.

Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox will join the Team USA Select Team that will compete against those invited to training camp, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Fox, 21, is coming off a banner season, his second in the league. He averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 assists in 81 games, as he and the Kings nearly pushed their way into a playoff berth.

Team USA will begin preparations next month for the FIBA World Cup in September.
