The Sacramento Kings have waived center Eric Mika and forward Isaiah Pineiro, the team announced in a news release.
According to Jason Jones of The Athletic, they will now sign veteran small forward Hollis Thompson to a partially guaranteed contract.
Thompson, 28, is 6-foot-8 and most recently appeared in the NBA in 2017 with the New Orleans Pelicans. He has also spent time with the Philadelphia 76ers and in the G League, and played last season overseas.
Mika, 24, is 6-10 and signed an Exhibit 10 contract in August. He went undrafted out of BYU in 2017 and signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Kings in August.
Pineiro is 6-7 and has spent time with the Puerto Rican national team. He went undrafted out of San Diego in June.
