The New York Knicks are signing power forward Julius Randle to a three-year, $63 million contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Randle, 24, declined his player option with the New Orleans Pelicans a couple weeks ago to become an unrestricted free agent.
The 6-foot-9, 250-pounder is coming off a monster season for the Pelicans in which he averaged 21.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 30.6 minutes in 73 games (49 starts), shooting 52.4 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from beyond the 3-point arc and 73.1 percent from the free-throw line.
