The Los Angeles Lakers have signed rookie power forwards Devontae Cacok and Aric Holman, the team announced.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, both players received Exhibit 10 contracts.
Cacock is 6-foot-7 and went undrafted out of UNC Wilmington. He averaged 15.2 points and 12.3 rebounds as a senior, and set the NCAA record with 80 percent shooting from the field in 2016-17.
Meanwhile, Holman is 6-10 and also went undrafted after his senior year at Mississippi State. He averaged 9.5 points and 6.2 rebounds this past season.
“An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract with a specific Exhibit 10 attachment built into it and no other bonuses. These attachments are not present in every NBA contract, only deals in which both parties have agreed to include it.
“Exhibit 10 attachments allow the NBA team to convert a player’s one-year, minimum contract into a two-way contract but this has to occur prior to the start of the regular season.”
