The Orlando Magic have waived rookie guard Hassani Gravett, president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman announced in a news release.
Gravett is 6-foot-2 and went undrafted out of South Carolina. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Magic in August. He is likely headed to the Lakeland Magic of the G League.
He will earn $50,000 on top of his G League salary if he remains with Lakeland for a minimum of 60 days.
The Magic currently have 19 players on their camp roster. The league limit is 20, so they could possibly sign another player before cuts are due later this month.
